Rodarte for Opening Ceremony

Da pochi giorni è stata presentata la collezione a/i creata da Rodarte per Opening Ceremony...che dire se non che ci ho messo un attimo per innamorarmene?  Il look book è stato realizzato dal fotografo Autumn De Wilde, collaboratore di vecchia data della maison, mentre i modelli sono Stephan Haurholm e le gemelle Gwen e Donna Loos, di una bellezza elegante e sorniona. A guardarlo sembra di giocare dentro una casa degli specchi: le silhouette dei tre modelli si moltiplicano svelandoci outfits dal gusto romantico e nordico, di chiara ispirazione scandinava e con diverse deliziose citazioni pittoriche. Seta e pelle sono i materiali predominanti e si mischiano a una palette di colori soft: salvia, ocra e rosa cipria. Numerosi i colletti, chiusi fino all'ultimo castigatissimo bottone, ma alleggeriti da un tripudio di rouches e di stampe.

Vi posso assicurare che resistere al "pre-order" messo a disposizione da opening ceremony è stata un'impresa titanica. Si accettano donazioni.

Few days ago was presented the full look book of the f/w Rodarte collection for Opening Ceremony...what can i say: i spent just one second to fall in love with it! The look book is shot by Autumn De Wilde, frequent collaborator of Rodarte maison, and models are Stephan Haurholm and twins Gwen and Donna Loos, characterized by an elegant and sly beauty. When you look at the pictures you feel inside a kind of mirror house: model's silhouettes multiply themselves  showing us romantic and nordic outfits, clearly influenced by Scandinavian culture and with some delightful pictorial quote. Silk and lambskin are the predominant materials perfectly mixed with a soft colors palette: mint, blush and ochre. Several collars, closed until the last chaste button, but lighten by a blaze of rouches and prints.

I swear you that to resist to the pre-sale option offered by opening ceremony was a titanic challenge. Donations are accepted.
