Fashion porn, direzione Londra

Ci sono poche cose che mi piacciono quanto il fashion porn. Non mi fraintendete, non parlo degli estremi che la parola "porn" porta sempre alla mente. Comunque, questo tipo di fotografia la preferisco nella versione snapshot, che è poi la sua naturale forma secondo me. Scatti apparentemente rubati, ma palesemente costruiti che ci mostrano piccoli spezzoni di una  sessualità acerba e sonnecchiante. Ah, io le trovo di estrema ispirazione, per quanto a volte pecchino di banalità. In effetti i componenti sono spesso gli stessi: la sigaretta, la persiana che lascia filtrare fiochi raggi mattutini a svelare materassi sdruciti, e suppellettili qua e là a rendere più straniante il tutto. E allora, se non siete del tutto stanchi di ciò, passate da Londra dove, fino al 4 Settembre, potrete vedere esposte alla Fredrick Terrace (vicino Haggerston station) le immagini di Rory d.c.s .

There are few stuff that i like as much as fashion porn. Don't misread, i'm not talking about "porn" as you are used to conceive it. Anyway, I prefer it in snapshot, which according to me is its natural form. So you have pics that looks (apparentely) stolen and shows small parts of a lazy and unripe sexuality. Ah, i find it so inspiring, also if sometimes they looks ordinary. Components are usually the same: cigarette, an open window that show us an outworn mattress, and some ornaments that make the scene looks more alienate. Then, if you are not bored of all this and you are around east London until the 4th September, go to Fredrick Terrace (Haggerston station) and visit Rory d.c.s. exposition.

Reed+Rader

I puristi della fotografia analogica erano già stati colpiti da anafilassi fulminante "qualche" anno fa, con l'avvento della fotografia digitale, ma è con Reed+Rader che avranno sicuramente optato per una morte rapida e indolore.

Questo talentuoso duo newyorkese, formato da Pamela Reed e Matthew Rader, ha infatti rivoluzionato il concetto di fare fotografia  animando le proprie immagini e dando vita a scatti pieni di energia, a volte persino inquietanti. La moda è il loro soggetto principale, la ricerca di una realtà interattiva ed emozionale è il loro fine ultimo. Due teste, quattro mani e la stessa percezione surreale della realtà. Potreste chiedere di meglio?
