Back to school: collar trend

Carissimi/e,

oggi non vi tedio con una mia simpatica foto, bensì con un breve discorsetto su uno dei micro trend che preferisco al momento: il colletto da camicia.

Avevamo iniziato a vederlo per strada già lo scorso inverno, poi questa primavera/estate Balenciaga e Miu Miu ci hanno confermato che sì, il look da scolaretta ripetente è ancora in auge.

Questo divertente elemento è stato rivisitato, elaborato, impreziosito...insomma, ce n'è per tutti i gusti! Esistono due scuole di pensiero a riguardo: la prima lo vuole tondeggiante, femminile, da secchiona. La seconda lo preferisce rigido, alla francese o botton down e possibilmente in metallo. Non so voi, ma io non saprei quale scegliere! 

Una cosa è sicura: lo potete portare con tutto, ancora meglio se abbinato a una borsa a cartella in tinte fluo, come la cambridge satchel. Risparmiatemi però il calzino alla caviglia: IN i nostalgici del tempo delle mele, OUT quelli della scuola materna.

Today i'm not going to bore you with some super nice picture of myself, but with a short speech on a micro trend i love: shirt collar.

We started seeing it on some people on the street last winter, then this ss 11 Balenciaga and Miu Miu confirmed that YES, "pupil-repeating-a-year"'s look is still fashionable.

This nice item has been revisited, elaborated, embellished...there's one for every taste!

Talking about that, we have to say there are two schools of thought: the first wants it to be round and girlish. The second one wants it stiff, in french or botton down, and possibly in metal. 

One thing is sure: you can wear it with everything, better if with a cambridge satchel bag in neon colors! But please, do not use short socks: we love "the Party" style (have you seen the movie?), but if you wear up like you have to go to nursery school...well, that's scaring!
